2024/25 Coaching Positions at Aberfeldie
The Aberfeldie Community Bowls Club (ACBC) is seeking expressions of interest for two coaching and leadership positions for the 2024/25 pennant season.
The first position is for the Senior Club Coach, who will be responsible for pennant and player development. The second position is for a Development Coach, who will assist the Senior Club Coach and be responsible for coaching and training.
These two leadership roles will focus on pennant, coaching and training whilst maintaining and enhancing our positive club culture.
ABOUT ACBC
ACBC is a proud community club fielding Saturday pennant teams in Division 1, 3, 4 and 6. With continued growth the club is expecting to field a fifth Saturday team this season. In addition to Saturday, the club fields three Tuesday pennant teams and two Night pennant teams. Last season six out of seven day pennant teams played finals, with four attaining promotion.
We have two excellent tiff grass greens providing the capability to play and train all year round. A progressive board and management team will support and assist our coaches throughout 2024/25 season.
The successful applicants will have:
- current coaching qualifications or be willing to undertake a coaching qualification and be available play Saturday pennant;
- excellent communication skills to engage with members of all ages and abilities.
