Sporting Schools – Coaches Wanted

by Team BV

Bowls Australia and Bowls Victoria are proud to be a part of the $100 million Australian Government Sporting Schools initiative designed to help schools to increase children’s participation in sport, and to connect children with community sport.
As over 6,000 schools have already registered for funding, Bowls Australia is looking to boost its Jr. Jack Attack coaching workforce throughout the country in order to meet the increasing demands of registered schools looking to participate in bowls.
Ultimately, the goal is centred around introducing children to bowls, further developing junior pathways moving forward, and creating greater links for clubs to engage with their relevant school communities.
If there are any members of your club or community who may be interested in becoming a paid Jr. Jack Attack Sporting Schools coach, Bowls Australia would welcome an email or phone call to discuss how we can get them involved. It is important to note that these members will need a valid Working With Children’s Check.
Contact Jacob Morgan, Sporting Schools and Social Programs Coordinator on jmorgan@bowlsaustralia.com.au or 03-9480 7162 for further information, regarding the full process.
